Legacy Starts Now
Empowering creative entrepreneurs through brand development, mentorship & financial literacy.
There is a specific, quiet frustration that comes with being a talented creative who is also a struggling business owner. You have the craft. You have the vision. You might even have a growing list of clients who love what you do. But at the end of the month, the math doesn't always add up, and the "business" side of your passion feels more like a weight than a wing.
At TOM Enterprise, Arizona’s only nonprofit creative incubator, we see this gap every day. It’s the gap between talent and structure.
We believe that your creative brilliance deserves a foundation that won't crack under the pressure of growth. That’s why we built the Legacy Builder Cohort. This isn't a networking group or a series of motivational speeches. It is a 12-week intensive designed to transform you from a freelancer with a skill into a founder with a legacy.
Applications for our next cohort are now opening. Here is the blueprint of what happens when you step inside.
Phase 1: The Foundation (Weeks 1-4)
Beyond the Logo
Every great structure begins with a survey of the land. In the first month of the Legacy Builder Cohort, we focus on your Foundation. Most entrepreneurs think branding is just a logo and a color palette. We’re here to show you that your brand is actually your reputation, your promise, and your position in the market.

During this phase, we strip away the noise. We ask the hard questions: Who are you really serving? Why should they choose you over a global corporation? What is the story only you can tell?
Using our Brand Identity Development framework, we move through:
- Creative Founder Identity: Defining your personal values and how they translate into a commercial venture.
- Ideal Client Profiling: Moving past "everyone" and finding the specific niche that values your unique creative output.
- Visual Strategy: Aligning your aesthetic with your business goals so that your "look" matches your "worth."
As Tralynn McCullar often says: "You don't need a million dollars to look like a million dollars. You need a strategy, a story, and the discipline to show up every day."
Phase 2: The Roadmap (Weeks 5-8)
From Ideas to Operations
By week five, the excitement of a new brand identity usually settles into a realization: Now I have to actually run this thing.
This is where many creative businesses fail: not because the art isn't good, but because the operations are invisible. Phase 2 is about building your Roadmap. We take your creative services and turn them into a structured offer suite.

We dive deep into Strategic Business Planning:
- The Offer Suite: Designing 2-3 core packages that are scalable and profitable.
- Marketing & Content Systems: Moving away from "random acts of social media" toward a consistent 30-day content rhythm.
- Client Experience: Mapping the journey from the first "hello" to the final invoice, ensuring every touchpoint feels premium.
We root this strategy in Arizona’s $14.2B creative economy. We don't just teach you how to sell; we teach you how to navigate the local landscape, find your community, and build partnerships that last.
Phase 3: The Fuel (Weeks 9-11)
Financial Literacy for Founders
If strategy is the roadmap, capital and cash flow are the fuel. This is often the most intimidating part of the journey for first-generation founders and artists. However, at TOM Enterprise, we remove the jargon and replace it with Fuel.

Our Financial Literacy Workshops focus on high-impact, practical tools. You don't need to be an accountant, but you do need to be the CFO of your own dreams. We cover:
- Separating Church and State: How to legally and financially separate your personal life from your business.
- Pricing for Profit: Moving from hourly rates (which penalize your efficiency) to value-based pricing.
- Revenue Projections: Building a 12-month model so you can stop guessing and start planning.
- Accessing Capital: Understanding the difference between grants, loans, and investors: and which one is right for your stage.
Remember, our services are scholarship-based. We believe financial barriers should never be the reason a legacy dies before it starts. Whether it's brand development or financial strategy, our pricing starts at $0 for those who qualify.
Phase 4: The Community (Week 12 & Beyond)
The Demo Day and The Legacy
The final week is the "Demo Day." This is more than a presentation; it’s an invitation. Our cohort members pitch their refined business models to a room of mentors, peers, and community leaders. It is the transition from "working on the business" to "launching the legacy."

But the journey doesn't end at Week 12. The Legacy Builder Cohort is your entry point into a lifelong community. You gain access to our 1-on-1 Mentorship network (starting at just $75/mo) and a group of fellow builders who understand the unique highs and lows of the creative path.
Is This For You?
The Legacy Builder Cohort is not for those looking for a "get rich quick" scheme or a passive course. It is for the founder who is ready to put in the work. It is for the person who is tired of being the "starving artist" and is ready to become the "successful CEO."
If you are a creative solopreneur, a freelancer, or a first-generation founder in Arizona, this is your invitation to build something that outlasts you.

The Details:
- Duration: 12 Weeks (Intensive)
- Focus: Branding, Strategy, Finance, Community
- Cost: Scholarship-based (From $0 / Scholarship)
- Requirement: A commitment to show up, do the work, and support your cohort.
Applications are opening now. Space is strictly limited to ensure that every founder receives the agency-quality creative and business support they deserve.
Move with Intention.
Your talent brought you this far. Let our blueprint take you the rest of the way.
